Activated alumina should be cleaned of floating powder on the surface before use to avoid excessive floating powder from clogging the filter and filter element. Do not wash with liquid water directly, because once activated alumina is adsorbed into a large amount of liquid water, it will lose its adsorption capacity. The best way to do this is to use a gas purge, and the adsorption tower blows the powder floating on the surface through a large amount of flowing air. Then install the filter element filter to debug the equipment.


If you rely on the usual simple cleaning, it is impossible to clear the clogged debris in the activated alumina, so it must be replaced regularly to avoid loss of adsorption capacity due to adsorption saturation. The best time to replace is not to replace the failed activated alumina.


After using and installing activated alumina, you should always observe the change of water quality discharged from the drain during use to judge the operation of activated alumina in the adsorption tower. If the drainage is turbid, it may be that the activated alumina has been worn out in the adsorption tower, or it has been pulverized. If aluminum is damaged, it should be repaired and inspected immediately. 4. If the adsorption capacity of activated alumina is found to decrease, the adsorption saturation can be judged. The adsorption tower has entered a large amount of oil, water or liquid water. At this time, it is necessary to increase the regeneration temperature for sufficient regeneration treatment to completely eliminate the internal water of the activated alumina adsorbent, thereby restoring its adsorption capacity.
